Substantial Completion Reached for Orléans Health Hub Project

Ottawa, March 17, 2021 - Hôpital Montfort and Infrastructure Ontario announced today that the Orléans Health Hub project has reached Substantial Completion.

With the achievement of this milestone, Hôpital Montfort, along with its partners, can begin preparing the space for opening in summer 2021. The new 96,000 square foot facility located at the corner of Mer-Bleue Road and Brian Coburn Boulevard will bring together complementary services from several health and community service partner organizations in the Ottawa area. Services will include needs-based ambulatory programs, diagnostic imaging, geriatric support, mental health and wellness, and active rehabilitation. Once open, residents of Ottawa East, from newborns to seniors, will have access to integrated programs close to home, focused on their needs, offered in both official languages.

The Hub is the first of its kind in Ontario and is expected to drive community-based healthcare thinking across the province.
